Canvas Frame Thickness
We use ¾” thick wooden stretcher frames on all canvas wraps up to 24” x 24”. A 1½” thick wooden stretcher frame is used on larger frames for strength and durability.

Plaque Mounts
Plaque Mounts are the latest addition to our mounted products. Their rustic wood design is very appealing in any home, cabin or office setting. They are ½” thick by 14” x 18” and are available in landscape and portrait styles. Me and My Catch’s Graphic Design team will choose which style, landscape or portrait, works best for your photo. All plaques have the option to be personalized with your own text, up to 40 characters in each text section. Personalization text is included in the price of the plaque mounts. A proof is available for a $15 nominal fee.

Mouse Pads
Me and My Catch offers custom mouse pads! They’re a great addition to any order, or gift for a loved one! Simply upload your photo and you’re done! The mouse pads are approximately 8” x 9” and are available in portrait and landscape styles. Our graphic design team will work to determine the style that best fits your photo. A proof is available for a $5 nominal fee.

Graphic Style Frame
Me and My Catch has developed a unique image style frame to enhance your mount. Our graphic artist will choose a color within your actual photo and expand it to create a contrasting boarder. Your image is then embossed around the edges to add a layered effect. Our process creates a gallery wrap style frame without a traditional wood frame.

Retouching Services
If your favorite photo is less than perfect, ask us to retouch it for you. Just select the retouching level then, in the comments, tell us what you’d like retouched. If you’re not sure which level to choose, use your best judgment, then in the comments, ask us to give you a call to review before we get started.

FREE Services – There are some things that we do for every image that we think needs enhancing at no charge to you. These include:

Best file format, resolution and image size
Short answer: 300 dpi jpeg
Long answer: The resolution from most digital cameras works perfectly for our product. If your camera is 5 mega pixel or higher and you've taken the photo at the highest setting you won't have a problem. If you're not sure about any of that, you can check the file size by right clicking on your image, then, click on properties, where the size will be displayed. Images that are 2 meg or higher are great. Images under 2 meg but higher than 700kb are almost always workable, so go ahead and upload those. Files under 700kb may work if the canvas is not too large and the image is clear, feel free to upload those as well with a note in the comments to contact you if there is an issue with resolution. JPEG or TIF files are both OK. We'll always call you if there is an issue.

Working with traditional prints
Many of our canvases and mounts are created from traditional photographic prints (snapshots) and they turn out wonderfully. You can scan your traditional print and upload it with your order or we can scan it for you. In that case’ please select the “Traditional Print” option and we’ll send you a photo mailer. When your mailer arrives just fill out the enclosed order form and return your photo in the pre-addressed, prepaid envelope provide.

A question that frequently arises is “Will I get it back? “ Absolutely. We are obsessive about taking care of our customer’s property. That being said, we strongly recommend NEVER sending us a irreplaceable photograph. Packages can and do get lost in transit and we would hate for you to lose a one of a kind image. If you have a treasured photo and no negative or copy we suggest that you have a high quality duplicate made before sending it to us.

Scanning tips
You can use a flat bed scanner to scan your image at 300 dpi resolution. Save the file in RGB mode using JPEG format with the highest quality setting and lowest compression.

If you have an old photo and don't have a scanner, you can have your photo scanned into a 300 dpi JPEG digital file on a CD at selected Kinko's stores, which you can then upload to us from your PC.

What’s a Half Mount
Me and My Catch has developed the process of recreating your fish by using new patent technology in high resolution printing and form casting. All the details of your photo, including in many cases the hands holding the fish are reproduced into a three dimensional mount. The specialized materials used for casting your fish will never deform or degrade. Our UV inks and laminates are designed to protect your fish and canvas from premature fading. So why wait for months and pay more for a traditional mount when you can catch and release, have fresh fish on your menu or recreate a long lost catch.

Professional Photography and copyrighted images
The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving the author of a photograph the exclusive right to reproduce the photograph. This includes the right to control the making of copies. If your photograph was taken by a professional photographer you may need to obtain a release. Both on our online order form and on our prepaid mailer, you'll be asked to agree to the following statement: "I certify that I own the copyright for this photo(s) or, I am authorized by the owner to make and use a photo-to-canvas reproduction."

Size Matters
We can do virtually any size canvas and mount. 2’, 4’, 6,’ 8’ wide or wider, no problem. The only restrictions in size will be from the quality and resolution of your image. The higher the resolution, the bigger we can produce without loosing image quality.

When it will ship
We take pride in being able to produce your mount much faster than traditional services. Most orders ship in less than four weeks from time of order.
